About Us

Founded in 2019 as a boutique financial firm to keep relationships with clients strong, I've brought my passion for helping others and expertise in corporate accounting and bookkeeping to businesses owners and professionals, streamlining their accounting functions and establishing a strong financial foundation they can rely on.

With over 22 years of corporate financial accounting experience, I provide personal attention, care and expert knowledge to support every client. 

Utilizing the most current technology in both accounting and communication through remote services, I am able to better serve my clients 24/7. On location meetings can be arranged locally. 

Stephanie has been a leader in corporate Accounting and Finance for over 22 years. She knew she wanted to work in accounting since attending a course in her high school. She started her career at 19 years old as a bookkeeper in Manhattan while attending college and playing soccer for Pace University in Westchester, NY. She immediately fell in love with going to a different bookkeeping client, in a different industry, every day. A love that stands today.

She spent the next nearly two decades raising her sons and working, starting out as a Full-Service Bookkeeper, then Assistant Controller at a public company, to becoming a Partner and Controller of a manufacturing company for 9 years. 

Always seeking new challenges, she left when she was offered a position as a Controller for a multi-national art foundry while it transitioned from old to new ownership. It was at this point she became known as a "Fixer". If a company was in financial disarray or in transition, she would go in, identify the issues, and work to resolve them quickly, whether the need be getting the financials cleaned up, workflow improvements, staffing changes, or new ways to manage the financials or technology, including highly successful ERP implementations. 

In December 2019, while working full time, going through a difficult divorce, and managing her school aged family at the onset, and throughout, the destructive COVID period, she founded Riverview Bookkeeping as her passion project. It was a light in her life, a way to build toward a better future for her family, despite the darkness of the time. 

The business was rebranded in 2023 to Riverview Accounting Partners as it had grown in clients and services and as it stands today with an office located in Nyack, NY.

As of January 2025, she is fully focused on running the business full-time with a staff of bookkeepers. She provides all CFO services herself in addition to the oversite of all the work of her bookkeeping team, ensuring the highest level of output and service.

Ms. Kruger completed her education in 2012 as an adult while raising two young children and holds a Master of Science in Accountancy degree from University of Phoenix. She completed the NYC Marathon in 2017 and is an avid outdoorsman whether boating, hiking, camping or riding her Harley Davidson.

She is engaged to be married in the summer of 2025 to her partner of 4+ years in the company of her two smart, funny and loving teenage sons and her beautiful daughter born in 2022.
